With another season about to begin its time to analyse the chances of the teams in this years Premier League. There are 16 teams in this years divison, many of who have not competed at this level before so to get to know those who we dont already here is an overview of each team, their probable lineup and some predictions.

First Up:

Group A

#OVERiDE.to: We start with a familiar face from the last few Open Cups. Whilst they may not be as active as in previous seasons they still have some experienced players to call on who have seen it all before and will no doubt be a threat in the latter stages of this seasons tournament.



Probable Lineup: aRsEL - Jery - CkL - sLave - EmC0

Team Reanimation 2009: A relatively new team formed out of TGC.eu along with some other members, they will be taking part in their first Open Cup. Some of their members have played in the Premier League in the past and they could be a decent bet to upset one of the more established teams and reach the playoffs if their strongest lineup is available.

Probable Lineup: ariRuna - reko - bishop - DiaLogicz - r1queL

#Game-Over Team!: Another newcomer to the Premier League they are one of a number of Portuguese teams in this seasons competition. Although their lineup does vary on the ladder veteran members such as Shinzy should provide some experience and they will be hoping to make it out of the group.

Probable Lineup: SpaRks - Shinzy - DecaLionz0r - tAl3nT - Ab0rT!on

Burn The Shroud: Next up the first representative of Israel in this years Premier League. Having had successful tournaments they requested to participate in the top division this year and it will be interesting to see if they can cause some upsets over the course of the group stage. As always connection issues could limit their chances of progressing any further.

Probable Lineup: Undertaker - j0Naz - meSsi - nickless - KrokodiL

iNfluxum: Back after last seasons dispute with a headadmin that saw them eliminated without losing they will be looking to set the record straight. All of the members no longer count TO as their main game but with a team that has seen and done it all before that shouldnt stop them comfortably progressing into the latter rounds. Even with the lack of activity having only played two wars since the last OC they will again be amongst the favourites.

Probable Lineup: legend - zaikovski - myzt - nighty - vieri

|M|enace -2- |S|ociety: A veteran team of many Open Cups, Hollands finest, mS is back once again to challenge for the title. With members that have played for several years, and won this title back in Fall 08, they will be one of the favourites to win especially as they have some of the more active members of the remaining high profile teams.

Probable Lineup: P03NTJ3 - froek - Mkaka - Lowk!ck - maki

shiNu.: A debutant in the Premier League, as one of the most active clans left in the game they requested to play in the top division. They will be looking to carry the form that has taken them into the top 5 on the ladder into this cup, however against the stronger teams that they play less regularly they may find it harder than they expected.

Probable Lineup: Specter - zet - saqo - gAlu - xyL

[Post-Mortem]: Last but not least the final team in Group A is one of Portugals most recognised teams. They won the third league back in Fall 07 and placed 3rd in last seasons second league and so are promoted into this seasons Premier division. They have some experienced members but their activity may be an issue, even so they are a respectable team who will want to do themselves justice.

So that wraps up Group A now we move onto...
Group B

#All Stars Bashers!*: We start with the third Portuguese team in this seasons Premier League, although their lineup is relatively unknown having undergone major changes since the groups were announced. It is difficult to know what to expect from them due to this so who knows where they will end up!

Probable Lineup: SNEIJDER - dr1nck - Heat.ini - Rhox - Shad0w

Last Man Standing: A new German team for this season, they are untested at the highest level so may find it a struggle. With members who are unknown to most of the community its another clan that it is difficult to predict though im sure they will want to prove themselves and progress into the playoffs.

Probable Lineup: pk - deCo - kyLe - tY - kiLo

« Team EvolutioN »: One of the oldest teams in this seasons cup they are probably Israels best known team and will be looking to be the first Israeli team to progress into the premier league playoffs. Having won the third league way back in 2006 and currently sitting top of the Israeli ladder they certainly are no strangers to success although it would be a major shock if they were to win.

Probable Lineup: 4EvEr - deathw!sh - idNz - Midas - Hitm4nz

#GROM.CLAN: Polands only remaining representative in the Premier League they continue the tradition from clans such as iqt and dF. Most of their members come from Team Poland and they will be a tough test for whoever they face this season, they may upset one of the favourites and progress out of the group.


Probable Lineup: Lajt - Bociek - Rzepananodze - Yogi - Piki

Intenze: With the last of the Scandanavian players, they are probably one of the most committed teams in this seasons competition. With players who have been in and around the top of the ladder for this past few years they will be one to watch as the tournament progresses and should move on from the group with ease. The group match with DA will give a good idea as to the strongest team in the tournament.

Probable Lineup: kwelie - kdNZa - mrituaL - e-thorn - frow

pstarZ*: A name that is familiar to those who played in the old GameStar Liga, they are one of the older German teams who are back this season with a new team. They have some strong players although whether they are capable of beating the strongest teams remains to be seen. They may progress if they are able to cause an upset and shouldnt be taken lightly.

Probable Lineup: mecki - pa!n - benny - flitzer - HaSsinho

Alliance of Justice: One of Germanys strongest team is back with some of their original lineup to fight for this seasons title. If they are active enough they are certainly one of the favourites for the competition. However with some of their members coming back from a long break it remains to be seen what sort of shape they are in, one thing is for sure though, they will not be an easy match for anyone.

Probable Lineup: s1dney - zipper - amieX - jAr - Daru

DA Gaming: And finally we come to the defending champions. They continue to be one of the most active teams left in the game and unless one of the other teams steps their game up they will be looking to make it consecutive titles. They are not unstopabble however having been beaten by a few of the other teams in this seasons premier league but it is upto the rest to knock them off their pedestal.
