A new year and, finally, some news.
First of all we would like to wish a Happy New Year to the whole Community.
Unfortunately there is some bad news at the beginning of 2010: Although the patch which was announced before christmas is almost done, it will contain a bit less then expected.
The strongly requested map RapidWaters][ will not be part of the patch and there is a simple reason for that: It's not done!Unfortunately we pointed out that it still contains some major bugs with negative impact on gameplay. As those can't be fixed in time, we don't want to release the map yet.
In spite of this issue the patch will be released in Q1/2010, containing some interesting new features and additional content, e.g. new weapons.
Before the release we plan to arrange a public testing of the new version where you, the community, can have a first impression of what was changed. Maybe you'll find a bug or two, so we'll have the chance for troubleshooting before the patch is officially released.
The public betatest is supposed to happen on Sunday 24/01/2010 on 7.30 pm CET. The required files will be available on the evening of 22nd so there is enough time to download and install them.
To join the betatest, simply leave us a message and your GUID in the forums. Without a GUID you can´t join the test!
